FormForge (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the FormForge AI Coach mobile application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when you use our app.

Information We Collect

We collect the minimum information necessary to provide our services:

  • Account Information: When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your email address and display name. We do not access your password.
  • Workout Data: Exercise sessions, rep counts, form scores, and coaching corrections are stored locally on your device and in your private Supabase account.
  • Camera Data: The camera feed is processed entirely on-device for real-time pose detection. No images or video are transmitted to any server, stored, or shared.
  • Voice Data: If you use voice commands, audio is processed to detect commands. Voice coaching audio is generated via OpenAI text-to-speech. No voice recordings are stored.
  • Purchase Information: Subscription and purchase status is managed by Apple (App Store) and Google (Play Store). We do not collect or store payment details.

How We Use Your Information

  • To provide real-time AI form coaching and voice guidance during workouts.
  • To track your workout history, analytics, and progress over time.
  • To generate personalized workout programs and injury prevention alerts.
  • To manage your subscription and unlock Pro features.
  • To sync your data across devices when signed in.

Data Storage and Security

Your workout data is stored locally on your device using encrypted local storage. When signed in, data is synced to Supabase with row-level security ensuring only you can access your records. All network communication uses TLS encryption.

Camera and Microphone

FormForge uses your device camera for real-time pose detection. All pose analysis runs on-device using Google ML Kit. No camera images or video are ever transmitted, stored, or shared. The microphone is used only for optional voice commands and is not recorded or transmitted.

Third-Party Services

  • Supabase: Authentication and data sync. Privacy Policy

  • OpenAI: Text-to-speech voice coaching generation. Only coaching text (not your personal data) is sent. Privacy Policy
  • Apple/Google: Sign-in authentication and in-app purchase processing.

Data Retention

Your workout data is retained as long as you maintain an account. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Profile screen in the app. Local data can be cleared by uninstalling the app.

Children’s Privacy

FormForge is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data (available in the app via data export).
  • Delete your account and all associated data.
  • Opt out of data sync by using the app without signing in.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date.
